A specialist of the Chinese economy at the Berlin-based Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS) of Berlin, Maximilian Kärnfelt will present his analysis of the current situation of the Chinese economy. He will also discuss Chinese economic policies both at the domestic level (rebalancing towards the domestic demand and consumption, dealing with debt accumulation) and at the international level (trade policy, Belt and Road Initiative, financial opening).
